Our team
Our values help us create an environment that is safe, supportive, fun and nurturing.
MADI MORRISON, DIRECTOR
Madi is the joint founder and director of TASK, and has previously worked in market research, sales and communications, as well as being involved in school P&Cs, support groups and local sporting clubs. She's a typical on-the-go mum of three children (and four cats who don’t always get on), so understands the need for fun, flexible and educational care. Madi enjoys watching children develop a sense of belonging and making new friends across all school years. And she is very proud of the development of the amazing team at TASK – of their support of TASK children, each other and TASK’s vision to be a leader in out of school hours care. Madi is passionate about new business, and bringing TASK to as many families who need it.
SUZANNE TUCKER, DIRECTOR
As the joint founder and director of TASK, Suzanne has extensive experience in business management, IT administration, HR and hospitality. She puts her problem solving skills to good use every day to constantly un-earth ways we can improve what we do. On top of this, she’s our resident guru on educational care regulations, navigating the approvals process for new services, overseeing CCS funding for families, and managing the legal compliance in governing out of school hours care for both families and our TASK team. She also spends much of her time developing policies and procedures to help care for children with special needs and medical conditions. Like Madi, she has three kids (plus a dog who loves eating thongs) and is passionate about the safety and well-being of all our TASK kids.
ADAM MAKEPEACE, CEO
Adam Makepeace has held senior management roles across the OSHC, non-profit, and education sectors having started his career as a teacher in Australia, the UK and USA 20 years ago. Adam is passionate about the incredibly important role OSHC plays in the development of friendships, social connectivity, and life skills amongst children in our programs. Adam joins TASK to support our continued commitment to delivering high-quality programs to our valued school communities.
ELI SIMS, SERVICES SUPPORT Manager
Eli is one of our longest-serving team members, overseeing all of our service operations from the initial set-up, to the ongoing support and management. With a Bachelors Degree in Languages and a Certificate III in Education Support (which allows her to assist in classrooms) Eli is passionate about children’s literacy. Outside of the office, Eli’s a mum to a recent school leaver, owns a rabbit, and is flirting with the idea about getting a dog.
Sarah Cleary, Financial Controller
As a qualified Chartered Accountant with 30 years’ experience, Sarah is the manager of the money — overseeing all our financial needs, including payroll, invoicing, accounts management, taxation and superannuation requirements. When she’s not counting the cash, she’s a mum of two very sporty kids and a (lazier) black cat — plus a dog called Boo. Sarah’s also an active member of the Newtown Swans AFL Club, and Annette Kellerman Swimming Club.
TRISHa Harrington, Office Manager
Trisha Harrington is our extra-ordinary Office Manager. She’s been with TASK since the start of 2018 and has quickly made herself invaluable with her supreme organisational skills and 'can-do' attitude. Trish is a mum of two high-schoolers, plus two furry pets and loves working at TASK because of it’s community-minded ethos, as well as how close it is to both home and the best cafes in the Inner West.
